The Brave Little Bird | Short story

0
There was once a small sparrow named Sally who dreamed of flying high in the sky, just like the eagles. While all the other sparrows stayed close to the ground, Sally longed to soar above the clouds. But whenever she tried to fly higher, the other sparrows would say, “You’re just a little bird. Sparrows don’t fly that high.

Despite their words, Sally felt something in her heart telling her she could do it. One day, Sally decided to follow her dream. She flapped her wings and began to fly higher and higher. The wind was strong, and the clouds were far away, but Sally kept going. Every time she felt tired, she reminded herself why she started – to reach the sky.

As Sally flew higher, she met an eagle who was impressed by her determination. The eagle flew beside her and said, “You’re brave for trying to fly this high. Most birds give up before they get here.”

Sally smiled and kept flapping her wings. Eventually, she reached the highest point she had ever flown. She looked down and saw the world from a whole new perspective. It was more beautiful than she had ever imagined.

When Sally returned to the ground, the other sparrows were amazed. “How did you do it?” they asked.

Sally replied, “I believed in myself, even when no one else did.”

The lesson: Don’t let others define your limits. Like Sally, if you believe in yourself and follow your dreams, you can achieve more than you ever thought possible.
